Old Friends Unite to Defend A-10 Title

The University of Dayton Women’s Basketball program has expanded it’s horizons with the addition of Ryan Gensler as a new assistant coach in addition to the coaching staff. From May 2015 - April 2017 of this year Ryan has been working as a video coordinator for the University of Florida basketball teams. According to Daytonflyers.com Shauna Green was very excited about the addition as she has known him for many years and knows that he will make a positive impact on the program. Green had a few words to say about Gensler during a press conference last week, “He brings a wealth of knowledge and his familiarity with the A-10 will be beneficial. His positive energy, tireless work ethic and ability to build relationships will help us continue to have success here at Dayton." Gensler expressed much excitement about working with Shauna as they both worked together at Providence College. With an impressive reputation at the past schools he has coached at his experience will shine next year as he is thrilled and excited to see the women’s basketball team defend the A10 championship trophy once again.
