Woohoo! GRANT-ALLEN DRAFTED BY L.A. SPARKS IN 2017 WNBA DRAFT

Become a highly regarded professional player is the dream of every athlete. Today, University of Dayton women's basketball player Saicha Grant-Allen was drafted by the Los Angeles Sparks in the third round of the 2017 WNBA Draft Thursday night with the 35 th overall pick.

The Los Angeles Sparks are a professional Basketball team based in Los Angeles, California, playing in the Western Conference in the Women's National Basketball Association. They are the current WNBA champions after defeating the Minnesota Lynx, 3-2, in the 2016 WNBA Finals. The team was founded before the league's inaugural 1997 season began.
